Colorado’s Cyberschool Day at the Capitol

Colorado’s Cyberschool Day at the Capitol.
Our day took place last Thursday and was a great day for celebrating school choice and thanking our legislators for Supporting School Choice in Colorado. The Colorado Coalition of Cyberschool Families and the Colorado Cyberschools Association co-sponsored this event with approximately 600 people in attendance. Representative Frank McNulty and Representative Karen Middleton shared remarks as families rallied on the West Steps of the Capitol. Randy DeHoff, Vice-Chair of the State Board of Education and Pamela Ice, CDE’s Director of Online Learning spoke to our families and shared in our day at the Sherman Street Event Center, and we had lots of student focused activities for all of our online community to participate in after the rally, which were generously provided by our online teachers and advisors.   Check out our photos on Flickr.
