Earth Day Thursday, April 22, 2010

Earth Day is a day to be planting trees, talking about the importance of the environment and preserving natural resources, but there is concern that Earth Day may be a day where biased beliefs are shared in public schools.

Last week, my friend from Ed is Watching blogged about what parents can do to put balance back in education and my friend Pam Benigno interviewed Carrie Lukas who talks about Balanced Education for Everyone.  This is a must see 9-minute podcast that can be accessed on Ed is Watching right hereListen to the podcast as Carrie talks about these two films An Inconvenient Truth and the other side of the story Not Evil Just Wrong

I think there is great value in sharing this message with other parents to help keep parents informed, not alarmed, just aware.
