School Choice Advocates

Check out last Thursday’s Rick Scott event where the Republican candidate for Governor of Florida talks about his plan if elected. Wendy Howard shares her excitement about Scott’s plan for expanding school choice, which is a big part of his proposal and Jessica shares her school day at home online.

Wendy Howard is a passionate supporter of school choice and chair of the Florida Chapter of the National Coalition for Public School Options. Her daughter,Jessica, who is now a 4th grader shares her mom’s passion for supporting school choice. When Jessica was just 7 years old she started a petition to urge legislators to remove the prior public school requirement before attending a virtual school. Jessica is an amazing young lady who works hard advocating to change current legislation so all children have fair and equal access to virtual education.
