A great turnout for Colorado Cyber School Park Day

The Colorado Coalition of Cyberschool Families (CCCF) and the Colorado Cyberschool Association (CCA) hosted the 2nd Annual Cyber Schools Park Day at Westlands Park last Friday.  The sun was shining and we had a great turnout of students, families and school staff with 5 different cyber schools represented: Colorado Virtual Academy, Colorado Connections Academy, Provost Academy Colorado, Insight School of Colorado, and G.O.A.L. Academy.

Online schools offers many different events throughout the school year for their students and families to participate in, but events like this are particularly fun because families have the opportunity to mix and mingle with others from different online schools.  This year we didn’t have any planned activities, but students took advantage of the main park which includes 2 climbing walls, and they ran through the fountains to cool off, and they organized a game of kickball.  Pizza was served at noon and families enjoyed time to chat and network.

Thanks to all of the School Staff and Families for joining us and a huge thanks to Jill, our Coalition manager and Alex for organizing a very fun day for our Colorado Cyber School Families!
