Last Thursday Colorado Virtual Academy (COVA) families gathered at Big Bear Ice Arena in Denver for a fun morning of ice-skating and activities. There was cookie decorating and hot cocoa and story time with Marah Merrill, a COVA elementary school teacher. Students also enjoyed visiting the Community Service Station where they had the opportunity to make cards for children who are fighting childhood cancer. It was a great morning of fun and socializing for our students and families.
