The Independence Institute opens the door for discussion on Student Funding

Thursday, December 6, the Independence Institute co-sponsored a panel discussion entitled “Financing Student Success” . The discussion was moderated by Tony Lewis, executive director of Donnell-Kay and the panel included Colorado State Senator Michael Johnston, State Senator Keith King, Vinny  Badolato, VP of Public Affairs at the Colorado League of Charter Schools, and Ben DeGrow, senior education policy analyst at the Independence Institute.

This was a great discussion focusing on  how money should follow the student and how Colorado’s School Finance Act needs to change in order to meet the individual learning needs of students.

Here’s the 90-minute panel discussion
