Colorado Cyber School Families Mix and Mingle

Last Friday was another awesome park day for Colorado Cyber School families. Each individual cyber school offers many social interactions among students and families within their school, but this day is unique in that it offers students and their families a chance to come together and interact within their own school and across other Colorado online schools. It’s a day to build community with the commonality of schooling in the online model.

We had representation from families who attend Branson School Online, Insight School of Colorado, G.O.A.L. Academy, Colorado Connections Academy, and Colorado Virtual Academy. Students, families, and school staff gathered for some outdoor fun, spent time with some old friends, met new cyber school families, and enjoyed pizza for lunch!

Our 3rd Annual Park Day was hosted by the Colorado Coalition of Cyberschool Families (CCCF) and the Colorado Cyberschools Association (CCA). These two organizations work closely together to bring events like this to our online school community throughout the year. Our collaboration enhances and enriches the cyber school experience for our families and the online education movement in Colorado.

Thanks to all of the families and school staff for joining us and thanks to CCCF and CCA for hosting another great event!
